Why I Chose to Open Opus:
Equipping people to take responsibility for their health has always been my passion. If I can teach a patient to understand their own needs they can teach and encourage others. In addition, over my many years of experience, I have come to realize the tremendous importance of the mind, body, spirit connection. The role this plays in recovery is a crucial component to living a healthy full life.

- Found love for the second time around and now enjoying life with four adult children, 2 grandsons, and 2 dogs.

Why I Became a Nurse Practitioner:
No matter which route God had planned for me to go I know it was meant for me to care for people mentally, physically and spiritually. Caring is in my DNA so becoming an NP was the path set before me. I feel like I have the best of both worlds being a Doctor Nurse.
